I love your work. You are an amazing artist. I have a question, after you finished your work with charcoal on canvas, how do you protect your work from it getting smudged? once again .. beautiful work.. thanks
Thank you, Shama.I use Fixativ and UV Fixativ by Lascaux.
See Header image, by the way. :-D
Thank you very much Dirk. I will have to find that from every hardware shop I come across. Thats because we dont get art supplies here, we have to order them through people. Sad. I know. I mostly ask people to get me some..I will coordinately check the header image :D
this is cool !!!!!!
How do you smudge the charcoal to make the background so deep black?Do you use smudge stick?Or something like that?
@MarcuI use Cretacolor Chunky for big areas. I rub the charcoal into the canvas with tissues or rags. Use 2 or 3 layers to get it even. You also can rub the 1st layer with a damp rag so it sticks better to the canvas.
Which charcoal pencils do you use?
Hi! you are my idol :) My dream in life is to be as superb as you are. I have a hard time making any charcoal drawings look smooth, i can always see the lines of the paper, would you mind telling me what the best type of paper would be? -Ana :)
