ReplyDeleteWonderful pieces... Greetings from Texas! ^_^
ReplyDeleteImpresionantes trabajos!!! enhorabuena.
ReplyDeleteIncredible detail Dirk. Can I ask how you produce such fine detail on light coloured hair? do you use an eraser or do you use a light pencil (chinawhite or pastel?). Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Mark. In this case I used an eraser and a white charcoal pencil.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you taking the time to reply, Dirk. Your advice is very helpful. I am working on a piece currently that has a lot of white facial hair and it is proving taxing. I use an electric eraser but I will also now experiment with a a white charcoal pencil.
ReplyDeleteHere's the work in progress...

Your favourite piece for me is 'Frozen'. Simply stunning. I can stare at it for ages. Thanks for the inspiration.
Kind regards
